This climb was easy in that there was a trail all the way up and down. It’s 9,243 feet at the top according to

the GPS and boy you felt it as your legs would start to burn due to the altitude and being a smoker did not help.

This was at the beginning of the climb. This is the first mountain I climbed the week end before.

This was as I was going up into the valley, the mountain in the above picture is to the left of this picture.

There are abandoned mines littered all around this area.

Here I’m about half way up, that is a road in the middle of this picture. In the original picture you can zoom in

and see that it goes straight across to the other mountains.

That’s the top and yes that’s a cloud not fog. As a matter of fact I don’t think fog exist in Arizona.

I took this just below the summit,

Here I am at the top, I thought I took more than just this picture but I guess not as I had a camcorder as well

and spent the time using that instead. Time was also a factor as it was about 4:30 and now I had to go back down.

By the way, I enhanced this picture quite a bit because the sun was setting.

This was as far to the edge as I dared go. It was not as windy as the first climb so I got closer to the edge.

Just after the grass at the bottom of this picture it drops about 150 feet.

At you can see I’m just about level with the clouds. Down below is Sierra Vista.

This is looking down on the first mountain I climbed. Kind of gives you a perspective of the height.

This photo was enhanced as well.

This is looking back as I descended back down.

It’s about 6:30 here and I had made it to Carr canyon. You can drive a car up here and there are

camp grounds as well, that’s Sierra Vista
